Purpose:
The Helen Miller Member Education and Training Center (METC) is an educational organization providing instruction and training to workers represented by members of Service Employees International Union Healthcare Illinois/Indiana/Missouri/Kansas (SEIU HCIIMK). SEIU HCIIMK is a dynamic, action-oriented union of over 95,000 healthcare and child care workers throughout those four states. The Administrative & Data Processing Assistant is responsible for processing stipend payments post class attendance, verifying and managing data entry into databases and other programs, in addition to providing administrative and data support to the METC.
Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Hybrid (must be able to attend required in person/onsite meetings/events).
Role Purpose:
The Administrative & Data Processing Assistant position will report to the METC Deputy Director.

Working Conditions:
May be required to work long and irregular hours, and to work on weekends and holidays when necessary. Travel, potentially for extended periods, may be required within our geographies and to other campaigns or events as needed. The job requires minimal lifting of up to 50lbs of boxes and shipping packages.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $22.94 – $25.54/ Hourly
